On God, Christ's Atonement, Covenant Peoples & Promised Lands, Anarchist/Libertarian Principles, & Property/Contract Theory.

Justifying a belief in God, particularly the God the LDS Church teaches of through Libertarian/Anarchist Theory regarding property and contract theory.

Part 1

Imagine you are a father or mother of 5 children, with 10 acres of land, & you plan to give 1 acre to each kid when they come of age. Each having their own rooms in the main house till that time. Now imagine 2 of those kids become criminals, one a thief the other an abuser of his/her spouse, children, & others.

You would still love them as your kids, despite their aggressions against others, right? You would not love their aggressions, but you would still love them & want the best for them, especially for them to quit their aggressions against others. However, as long as they remain unrepentant in their aggressions, remaining a thief & an abuser if others, you would not welcome them back onto your property as you couldn’t trust them and couldn’t approve of their aggressive living. You would also not welcome them back onto your property in order for protect the others who do live non-aggressive lives and thus have proven themselves worthy to be inheritors of your property, as you had planned. of, course, being the loving parent you are, you would always seek to help your troubled, aggressive children who are now adults in the ways you could, tho you couldn’t force them to change. The change had to come from them. And when they did change and ceased their aggressive ways of living, you would, out of love for them, want to welcome them back onto your property with joy and open arms, perhaps even as heirs to their 1 plot in time if they proved worthy of it and proved a true change of heart and repentance, right?

Such is God. He is a parent of children, humanity, us, who is vastly superior to us in knowledge and intellect and thus power, and using such knowledge and power, he has built worlds without number for his children to inhabit and prove themselves, through their agency and choices between good and evil, worthy of returning back to him and living with him on his property as heirs, being given their own property from His stock of property, to live as a family. And as the property owner, He, God, gets to decide the rules we must live by in order to return to his property and inherit our own part of it, which includes choosing good and non-aggression or evil/aggression. And knowing we would necessarily, by nature of having agency, choose evil sometimes, for there can be no agency without a choice between good and evil…thus, knowing we would wrongly choose evil on occasion, having agency, God, decided upon a plan of redemption and salvation, with our consent, of course, to pay the debts to justice we create and owe through our fallibility in occasionally choosing evil/aggression. This plan was presented in the pre-earth life as we were spirits, wherein 2 individual spirits, Christ & Lucifer each presented a plan to allow the spirit children of God (however we became the children of God) to return to live with God as heirs of his property and as his equals, becoming Gods ourselves over time thru learning and experience. Lucifer sought to force humanity to choose good & coercively being them back to the Father, thus destroying their agency, all the while demanding God to give him his throne and power to do it. In destroying agency and coercing humanity to do good and return back to God’s presence and property whether they wanted it or not, would be enslaving them, exercising aggression on them, using aggression to make them do good and return and be “saved” and using aggression if they tried to disobey his aggressive edicts. His plan of aggression was roundly rejected by the vast majority of spirits in favor of Christ’s plan of salvation wherein agency to choose between good and evil and thus one’s final destiny and destination (with God or elsewhere) would be preserved by Christ offering to go down and suffer for the all the sins (aggressions) of all humanity and give his life willingly for them so that he may, by the Father’s knowledge of science and thus his power be brought back to life as an exalted being with a body and pay the debts to justice each person owes whenever an individual commits an aggression against another person. And in exchange for this merciful payment of the wages of sin for each individual, all one must do is hold up one’s end of the contract or the covenant, which are A.) baptism (as a demonstration of one’s willingness to adhere to the terms of the Atonement contract) B.) have a change of heart and repent of one’s aggressions/sins thru the Atonement & thru ceasing the aggressions and making restitution where possible, and enduring to the end on that path of righteous (non-aggressive) living. Very liberal, easy contract terms indeed! And in exchange for doing such, with a pure heart of truly abandoning and hating sin (aggression), Christ would pay the debts owed by each individual to justice who adheres to the contractual terms of the Atonement and extend mercy, thereby allowing such individuals who abide by the Atoning contract to return to the Father’s property and inherit their portion and become as He is over time and learning by eternal progression. Those who don’t cease their aggressions and refuse to abide by terms of the Atoning contract, are thus left on their own pay back their own debts to justice created by their inevitable aggressions in life, sadly denied mercy as they did not give mercy by living an aggressive life on earth. For God and Christ cannot allow the eternal laws of justice and mercy to rob one another, granting mercy to those who truly don’t deserve it or damning to justice one who deserves mercy for having repented and abided by the terms of the Atonement contract.

Lucifer, for his attempts at aggression against his fellow human beings and attempts to seize God’s throne and power, his rebellion, was thrust out of Heaven, God’s property, along with the 1/3 of the human spirits that followed him, to be his angels/demons, as they could not be trusted to remain and not attempt to further aggress. And one can only surmise that they have refused to cease in their aggressive way of living, thus remain cast out of God’s heavenly property. Such will be the same fate of those spirits who supported Christ’s plan of salvation and thus were granted a body to come down to earth and be tried and proved to see whether they were truly worthy of inheriting God’s property & becoming as He is after having a time to experience the law of opposites, pain and pleasure, good and evil, sickness and health, and learn to exercise their agency in choosing the good over the evil. For without having that experience of living a life in a body where one experiences the law of opposites, one cannot truly be said to have full agency. Without a knowledge of and the ability to choose good over evil and learn to prize the good over the evil, one cannot have agency and one cannot demonstrate they are worthy of inheriting God’s property and becoming as He is. Thus, those who do not accept the terms of the Atonement Contract and continuously live a life of aggression and thus evil against others, will not be welcomed back into God’s presence and into his Heavenly estate, though they will be granted a lesser degree of property to inherit, a less choice piece of land, as it were, depending on how evil they lived in life and want to continue to live in the afterlife.

Now Satan and all who followed him, were cast out of God’s presence and from his Heavenly estate, but they were granted permission to inhabit the earth, also God’s property that he formed with the help of Christ and Adam (as spirits) by taking matters into unorganized in space and organizing it into a planet fit for life. In other words, God, thru his agents Christ and Adam, homesteaded unowned matter in space and created, however it was done, a planet whereby we may come down, gain and body, and be proved and tested to see if we would use our agency to follow Satan who was cast down here too, for the purpose of the law of opposites in having a tempter who would tempt humanity to do evil and aggression, or follow Christ, whose will would be made known to mankind via prophets, seers, revelators, and by personal revelation via the Holy Spirit, the third member of the Godhead. That is why Satan has been permitted to inhabit this earth that is God’s property that he has given to use to inherit and own if we do so properly, righteously, thru non-aggression. For without an evil tempter who would tempt humanity to do evil and a promoter to promo humanity to do good, there could be no agency. Without a choice of choosing one over the other, the eternal law of opposites (Newton’s 3rd law), there could be no agency. Thus the necessity of Satan and his demonic angels dwelling on earth amongst us, tho on a different plan of existence that we are unable to see by way of quantum physics and other science.

Such is God, and such is the reconciliation of anarchist and property/contract principles with God and the Christian message, explained the most thoroughly and unbeatably by the LDS religion. And such is the need to spread its message and the need for one to choose to believe it or not. For it is only by abiding by the terms of the Atonement Contract with Christ that we can return to God’s heavenly property and inherit our portion of said property he freely gives to us (if we show we are worthy of it) and remain in his presence.

Just as earthly parents would not allow any of their aggressive children onto their (the parent’s) property out of an inability to trust them and out of protection of the righteous children that remain on or inherent a portion of the property, God, too, as a property owner who follows the eternal laws of justice and mercy and the eternal law of opposites, choosing the good over the evil, cannot allow his own children, us, back on to his property in his presence to inherit their promised portion out of living by the eternal laws of justice and mercy and our protection of the righteous against the aggressions of the aggressive portion of his children.

Is such a being as the God described above possible? Take the most intelligent person you know or the person judged to be the most intelligent by the majority of humanity. They exist or existed, and they grew in intelligence over time. If they can exist, why can’t someone smarter/more knowledgeable/intelligent than they exist as well? But some may argue, I can’t see or meet such a God, so he must not be real! Ah, but absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Did you ever meet Albert Einstein in the flesh? Probably not. He died in the 1950s. Steve Jobs? I never did & most people alive today probably didn’t either. Sure, they probably saw pictures or videos of them. But that wasn’t actually seeing them in person. And yet we say they existed. Take an isolated African bush-person or Brazilian tribes-person. They probably never heard of Albert Einstein let alone seen pictures of videos of him. And yet, despite their total lack of knowledge of their existence, they still existed. And why couldn’t they exist? They were just two people who were smarter than the average bear, as it were. Such people exist every single day all over the world without our knowledge of them existing. And yet, they exist. As LDS scripture puts in the Book of Abraham 3:6-9, 16, 18-19, 21-28

“6 And the Lord said unto me: Now, Abraham, these two facts exist, behold thine eyes see it; it is given unto thee to know the times of reckoning, and the set time, yea, the set time of the earth upon which thou standest, and the set time of the greater light which is set to rule the day, and the set time of the lesser light which is set to rule the night.

7 Now the set time of the lesser light is a longer time as to its reckoning than the reckoning of the time of the earth upon which thou standest.

8 And where these two facts exist, there shall be another fact above them, that is, there shall be another planet whose reckoning of time shall be longer still;

9 And thus there shall be the reckoning of the time of one planet above another, until thou come nigh unto Kolob, which Kolob is after the reckoning of the Lord’s time; which Kolob is set nigh unto the throne of God, to govern all those planets which belong to the same order as that upon which thou standest.

16 If two things exist, and there be one above the other, there shall be greater things above them; therefore Kolob is the greatest of all the Kokaubeam that thou hast seen, because it is nearest unto me.

Howbeit that he made the greater star; as, also, if there be two spirits⁠, and one shall be more intelligent than the other, yet these two spirits, notwithstanding one is more intelligent than the other, have no beginning; they existed before, they shall have no end, they shall exist after, for they are gnolaum⁠, or eternal.

19 And the Lord said unto me: These two facts do exist, that there are two spirits, one being more intelligent than the other; there shall be another more intelligent than they; I am the Lord thy God, I am more intelligent than they all.

21 I dwell in the midst of them all; I now, therefore, have come down unto thee to declare unto thee the workswhich my hands have made, wherein my wisdom excelleth them all, for I rule in the heavens above, and in the earth beneath, in all wisdom and prudence, over all the intelligences thine eyes have seen from the beginning; I came down in the beginning in the midst of all the intelligences thou hast seen.

22 Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones;

23 And God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast chosen before thou wast born.

24 And there stood one among them that was like unto God, and he said unto those who were with him: We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of these materials, and we will make an earth whereon these may dwell⁠;

25 And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them;

26 And they who keep their first estate shall be added upon; and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate; and they who keep their second estate shall have glory added upon their heads for ever and ever.

27 And the Lord said: Whom shall I send⁠? And one answered like unto the Son of Man: Here am I, send me. And another answered and said: Here am I, send me. And the Lord said: I will send the first.

28 And the second was angry, and kept not his first estate⁠; and, at that day, many followed after him.

In other words, there were spirits or intelligences (sentient beings of varying degrees of intelligence) & Hod was the most intelligent of them all and gathered them together, who would hear Him, and he told them of a plan to allow them to advance and progress over time by learning and experience, here and a little, there a little, according to their desires, to the point of where they become as He is, a God. For God is not only an actual, extremely intelligent being, but it is a title as well, a title any one of us may obtain if we progress far enough and in the right way. And, following the logic of the verses from Abraham as well as the teachings about God in his King Follet Discourse, we can only conclude that there are other Gods besides him since there will be other Gods as we progress and become like Him through our choices. It could very well be that there is an entire multi-generational genealogy of Gods, with grandparent Gods, great grandparent Gods, and so and so on for who now’s how far back just as there are familial genealogies here on earth dating back who knows how far back. But, just as we have only one father and one mother, biologically speaking, our Heavenly Father is our God, to us, he being our steward and we being under His care and thus we shld be listening to. So, yes, it’s entirely possible that reality is both simultaneously monotheistic and polytheistic.

Degrees of glory & different types of property as inheritance, some in the presence of God and some out of the presence of God and in the presence of Jesus or the Holy Spirit, depending on degree of righteous one wants to live.

Again, God being an eternal human being with extreme knowledge and thus intelligence and of such antiquity, this all being the source of his power, and as part of that intelligence God knows to stick by the eternal laws of justice and mercy as well as non-aggression, thus making him God, he will naturally set the same conditions for those who wish to abide with Him and inherit His property he freely gives to those who prove themselves worthy of it. But as God abides by the eternal law of non-aggression, He must thus respect the agency of humanity. And respecting the agency of humanity, He thus knows some may well, for whatever their own reasons, not wish to abide with him and Inherit their portion of his vast property. Perhaps they refuse to abide by one of His terms for abiding with his in his “neighborhood,” as it were, on property of their own. Or perhaps they like to aggress in small ways such as theft, defrauding others, or being abusive & controlling to a degree. Or, perhaps, like Satan, they hate God and all He stands for or just don’t care and care only for power right now and will do whatever to obtain it. Thus, given that some of his children, some of humanity will ultimately use their agency to not want to dwell with God in the eternities and inherit some of his Property, there must needs be places or properties for them to inherit that are outside of the presence of God. Herein lies the importance of the degrees of glory as taught by both the Bible and supplemental LDS scripture. The Bible of course teaches in Matthew that in Christ’s Father’s house, OUR Father’s house, there are many mansions. Or put another way, in God our Father’s house there are many rooms. Or perhaps, put yer another way, in our Father’s realm, on his property, there are many different neighborhoods for humanity to inherit depending on how they lived their life here on earth and depending on they wish to live their life in the hereafter. There must necessarily be a place for the aggressive Satanic followers, Hell, that is entirely separate from the neighborhood of the Father, separated for the protection of those who have proven themselves worthy of dwelling with God, for those of Hell would seek to enslave and destroy the inhabitants of God’s realm. There must necessarily be some use of science of some kind to defensively keep out those of Hell and keep them in their own realms. But as D&C

Upon God Being Eternal

Many people, Christians and Atheists alike, misinterpret what it means for God to be eternal. They often interpret this word as existing forever. That is one definition, to be sure, and it may indeed be the actually case with God, that He had been around forever in some form. I do not know. But what I think is more important to focus on is the other definition of eternal, that is, never varying. For this describes God perfectly and He says as much in scriptures like D&C 19:4-12.

4 And surely every man must repent or suffer⁠, for I, God, am endless⁠.

5 Wherefore, I revoke not the judgments which I shall pass, but woes shall go forth, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth, yea, to those who are found on my left hand.

6 Nevertheless, it is not written that there shall be no end to this torment, but it is written endless torment⁠.

7 Again, it is written eternal damnation⁠; wherefore it is more express than other scriptures, that it might work upon the hearts of the children of men, altogether for my name’s glory.

8 Wherefore, I will explain unto you this mystery⁠, for it is meet unto you to know even as mine apostles.

9 I speak unto you that are chosen in this thing, even as one, that you may enter into my rest⁠.

10 For, behold, the mystery of godliness, how great is it! For, behold, I am endless⁠, and the punishment which is given from my hand is endless punishment⁠, for Endless is my name. Wherefore—

11 Eternal punishment is God’s punishment.

12 Endless punishment is God’s punishment.

These scriptures indicate that God’s nature is to stick continually and consistently, i.e. eternally to the attributes that make Him God in the first place, never varying from said principles of righteousness. That is what makes God eternal. He has agency; He has the ability to sin should he choose to. but, He doesn’t do so. He continually chooses good. How? How does he continually and perfectly do good and not sin? My guess is that, as Bill Murray demonstrates in the film Groundhog Day, he’s had an eternity, or a very long time, to perfect his attributes and choices that make Him God. This has allowed Him to gain His intelligence thru eternal progression, and thus His knowledge & power. God’s origin story ultimately, while interesting to theorize about, is unimportant, because it is his Existence & what He is & the fact the we too can become like Him over time (eternal progression)& how to do so that is important. Say a successful, well to do, intelligent old man comes to you in your twenties and says to you, “I will teach you the secrets of how to guaranteed become successful, wealthy, and intelligent like me. You can see the goodness in his eyes. You can see his success in his clothes and possessions. You can see he is a good man by the way he treats you and interacts with others. Would you scoff and reject him right away? Or would hear him out and listen to what he has to say? Perhaps you may, “I don’t this man from Adam, how can I believe him? How can I know his methods to successful and intelligence in life are sound?” And such would be a reasonable reaction at first. But you are not without evidence of the tried and true practices of his methods and advice. You can see it. You can feel it. You can sense it, if you but let your mind and heart be open to if his message be true or not, whether it be persuasive enough to at least give his advice and methods a try. Why not give them a try and see where they lead you for a bit? Such is God. He reaches out to us all to instruct us on how to become as He is, extremely intelligent and knowledgeable and thus extremely powerful, & tells you how to get going in that journey and eventually become a possessor of his property he gives to you freely if you but prove your worth of it by abiding by the Atonement Contract of Christ. The only difference between tha allegory of the old man and Hod is that you can’t physically see God. But you can physically see his messengers and the evidences of the tried and true results of his methods and advice toward becoming like them and Him. All it takes us for you to make a choice based on the message of abide by Christ’s Atonement contract by being a good person and not aggressing against others, sincerely repenting when you fall short, and in the end receive as a reward not only the choicest of God’s property, but also to be His neighbor, His community member. Or you can choose to not abide by said contract and inherent a lesser, less choice piece of God’s property, out of His presence, or worse, inherent nothing and be justly forced, by your own choices in life and the next, to suffer for your own aggressions/sins in full, by yourself, living as a miserable and unhappy slave under Satan? Who but a fool would choose the very latter?

Again, the errant nature of God is that He doesn’t change in his abiding by non-aggression, righteousness, and the eternal laws of justice and mercy, among other eternal principles. And thus, his judgements and the consequences for our choices never change…SO LONG as WE refuse to change. As the scriptures in D&C 19 indicate, as well as the logical conclusions of the Parable of the Prodigal Son and the Parable of the Lost Sheep, people’s self-imposed torment in having to pay back justice for their aggressions/sins all by themselves and thus their misery in being a slave to Satan CAN change at any time THEY decide to choose to take advantage of Christ’s infinite Atonement contract. Which means, there is always hope and and escape from the confines of Hell if one changes his ways and, using the Atonement of Christ, learns to progress over time, I.e. eternal progression. We are agents, free to choose our path and our consequences, our rewards. God’s punishment of not letting mercy rob justice and thus those who remain in their sin/aggression pay their own heavy debts to justice and the victims they owe as a result of their aggressions against them can change at any time should they wish it to by agreeing to adhere by the rules of God’s property, which are to adhere by the terms of Christ’s Atonement contract. The choice is yours, to be free and an inheritor of freely given, premium property and learn to become as God Himself while dwelling in His presence, or not. We can logically surmise that God would forgive and welcome back into the fold (over time) even Satan himself were he to truly humble himself & change his ways & repent via the Atonement of Christ. This tells us that not only is “God” a title any being might attain, but also so is Satan, for the law of opposites says that there must always be good and evil, and thus a God and a Satan. This does not mean there must be a person occupying the position or title of Satan at all times, for the title and methodology of living can still existence even though no one adheres to it or lives by it. But the odds are that Lucifer, i.e. Satan, will not relent and continue being evil, or in the very least, someone would occupy that title.

The Origins of God?

Where did God or THE original God come from? He couldn’t create himself, so how did he come to be? I Donny know. I have no definitive answers on this topic. But, like the atheists and scientists, I have theories. Atheists and science rely upon the theory of the universal ancestor, a single called organism from which life sprung forth. I may very well ask, how did THAT universal ancestor come into being? But putting that aside, it’s entirely possible that if that is how humanity developed, why couldn’t God have developed from that same universal ancestor, just way before us and thus had time to learn more knowledge and become more intelligent than us? Again, just as the atheists, I have no definitive proof of this and can only make guesses and exercise faith in the hypothesis and theories of other fallible people.

On Lands of Inheritance & Cleansing the Lands of Current Inhabitants for the New Incoming Possessors Given the Land to Possess as their Land of Promise, so long as they follow the commandments of God.

It must be remembered that the earth was created by God when his willing agents, Jehova (Jesus Christ) & Michael (Adam), on his behalf and order, homesteaded raw, unused materials from space and used them to create the earth via science, whether Newtonian Science and/or quantum physics and mechanics or some other as sciences yet h known to humanity. As such, the earth belongs to God; he is the rightful property owner of the materials he used to create it. Some may say Michael and Jehova are the rightful owners as they are the ones who actually did the deed of homesteading the materials and getting things set in motion to transform them via science into the earth. That may be true, but remember, Jehovah and Michael did so on behalf of God, the Father, as his agents, and even if they were the legit title owners having done the creation in God’s name, they were still his agents working on His behalf, like an employee working for a boss who owns the business making a deal with another firm or making a sale to bring money in to the owner of the business. Ur, even if we were to consider Jehovah and Michael as the rightful property owners, they willingly gave it all back to God as they were willing to do His will seeing how wise, intelligent just, loving, and merciful He is, having faith in His plan. Thus, that would make God the Father the legitimate title owner of earth, to do with as Ge pleases, so long as aggression against others is not involved. And as such, He is perfectly entitled as property owner to give certain parts of it to his children who come down to inhabit it, upon condition that they live on it by the same principles He lives by, I.e. by non-aggression and voluntarism. And such is the case with his various covenant peoples found throughout scriptures, for that is why they are called His covenant peoples: they are given choice portions of His property to inhabit as their own so long as they do not aggress against others and become ripe in their iniquity/aggressions.

There are many instances in scripture, whether the Bible, Book of Mormon the Doctrine & Covenants or the Pearl of Great Price, where God, as homesteader and thus creator and owner of this world gives certain choice parts of it to certain of his children on the condition that they serve him and not any other God, meaning that they do not live lives of aggression & evil. In the case of the Israelites, they were given the land of Canaan as their land of inheritance and promise, and they were guaranteed to have it as their land of inheritance so long as they served God, meaning that they lived in righteousness. The original inhabitants of Canaan, whom the Israelites were to conquer and destroy, were ripe in their wickedness, in their aggression, & had committed so many aggressions for so long and lived so unrepentantly as to be found deserving of justice for their crimes against others. The Bible in Dueteronony speaks of the “abominations” of the Canaanites as a whole, but what were those abominations? What crimes or aggressions did the Canaanite’s commit as to have God drive them from the land to make way for Israel, God’s new covenant people? One verse in particular enlightens us as to what these unrepentant aggressions were and what other aggressions they may have been unrepentantly engaged in long enough to earned them a judgment from God, the homesteader of raw materials from space & thus the earth creator & property owner, of justice for their unrepentant aggressions. Deuteronomy 12:28-31 gives us a clue as to just how evil these native societies of the Canaanites were and why God told Israel in Deuteronomy 20:16 to leave none alive of the 7 specific “nations” or “people” God mentioned.

Deuteronomy 12:28-31

29 ¶ When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;

30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

31 Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord⁠, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

Specifically, ONE (and just one) of their abominations before God that justified God giving the land to others in response to their continued, unrepentant aggressions was child sacrifice to their gods wherein they murdered their children by burning them as sacrifices to their gods. This gives us a clue as to just how evil and unreprentantly aggressive these Canaanite peoples were and why God justified Israel in going thru, conquering them and utterly destroying them. They were child murderers, in the very least. Thus, when a land that has been promised by the owner of this world, God, to his covenant people, has become corrupted because of the evil aggression of said covenant people, the land is taken from them and given to others who are more righteous and non-aggressive. This is the case with the Israelites and Canaanites. It also the case when the Israelites become ripe in their own iniquity, the land of Israel is given to others who are either more righteous or simply Hod allows other wicked nations to co quite Israel as justice for their evil ways and repeated aggressions and non-repentance. Thus Israel was sacked by the Babylonians, by the Chaldeans, and by the Romans. Each time it occurred, Israel was ripe in their aggressions and due for justice, & God allowed other nations to inhabit the “promised land,” allowing the wicked to destroy the wicked.

We see this same principle occur in the Book of Mormon as well. First the Jaredites are brought over and given their land of promise and inheritance somewhere in Southern Mexico. But inevitably, after they demand a king and a throne of power like all other nations, they begin to squabble & fight over the throne, warring and murdering each other for control over the throne and the whole land of promise till they become so wicked and evil that they end up destroying themselves down to one man, Coriantumr , who was discovered by another group of covenant people brought over by God from Israel before the Babylonian conquering of Israel, as a consequence of Israel’s wickedness, by Nebuchadnezzar. The Jaredites were a people so named after their leader, Jared, and his brother, along with their families and other followers, of the old world who were present at the time of the construction of the Tower of Babel and were one of the few righteous groups who escaped having their language scrambled and were lead away from the old wicked societies, like the Hebrews were lead out of Egypt, for a far off land of covenant and promise for them to inherit as their own property, so long as they abided by the covenant of serving God by living according to his righteous, non-aggressive ways. Over centuries of time, they became ripe in their iniquity fighting over the throne of power to rule over each other, becoming ripe in their aggressions toward each other via civil war that they destroyed themselves, save for the one man, Coriantumr, left alive as a testament to the new incoming covenant people of what befalls a covenant people brought a covenant, promise land as their own who turn to wickedness and aggression. The Jaredite’s tale can be read about in the Book of Ether, a small section toward the end of the Book of Mormon, itself a grouping of writings by and/or about certain groups of people who inhabited the Americas who were wrought over by God to inherit the new world as their own covenant promised land as God’s covenant people, so long as they abided by the covenant. Thus, while called the Book of Mormon, it consists of different books concerning different peoples or the same people over centuries of time in that one area of what is most likely Southern Mexico and Guatemala, each book named after the prophet that tried to guide them. Mormon was the later prophet who abridged and compiled all these writings into one book, along with his son, Moroni. The group of new covenant peoples who discovered Coriantumr, the last of the Jaredites left alive Tia ever as warning to the new comers of the consequences of not abiding by the covenant, were the Mulekites. They were lead over by Mikel, one of the righteous sons of King Zedekiah who reigned as king before the Babylonian sacking of Israel around 600BC. These Mulekites later joined forces with the Nephites, who were another such group of covenant people lead over around the same time as the Mulekites to the same area of the Americas to have it as their promised and covenant land. Originally the Nephites, one part of a larger group called the Lehites after the name of the patriarch of the family, landed further south, perhaps down by Panama and traveled North toward the land of promise, Southern Mexico & Guatemala area, their land of inheritance. The Lehites split into the Nephites and the Lamanites, or those of the family and whoever else they picked up along the way as followers, Nephi and Laman being two of sons of Lehi & thus brothers. They were diametrically opposite of each other. Nephi was righteous and non-aggressing. Laman & his younger brother, Lemuel, both older brothers to Nephi, were not, and tended to chose evil and aggression over righteousness. This when the family landed in their land of inheritance, and after Lehi died, the to avoid further Lamanites aggression and enslavement, the Nephites fled into the north-western wilderness to homestead a new home for their people, out of the reach of their murderousns and tyrannical brothers. They eventually stumbled upon the Mulekites and the two groups of people, recognizing each other as both descendants of the House of Israel, joined together to become one people, called from thence forth the Nephites. And from there on out, despite their being many -ites of people, they were all grouped under the two names of Nephites and Lamanites. They too fell into the same traps and pitfalls that befell the Jaredites and eventually the Nephites became so wicked, but being the more choice of the two having had a knowledge of the truth of God and His ways as opposed to the Lamanites, who were mostly raised under the false traditions of their wicked fathers and thus were less culpable for their evil. Thus, God was more merciful towards them having not rebelled against the greater light and truth like the Nephites and eventually the Nephites were all but destroyed and went extinct by the Lamanites destroying their civilization. The Lamanites alone remained. But they too would be driven to and fro on the land of promise for their iniquity, by a new group of covenant people who would also inherit the Americas as their land of promise, so long as they abided by the covenant. Thus, God gives certain parts of the earth to different groups of people to inherit as their own property, but they can only keep it as their own property so long as they abided by by the covenant of living non-aggressive, moral lives according to the ways of God. If they turn to aggression and evil over a long enough period of time, they lose that land of inheritance, that covenant promises land for having broken the covenant of justice.

A small note concerning the seeming destruction of innocents (children, non-evil/non-aggressing people) by God or by God’s people, as shown in Deuteronomy and elsewhere in scripture.

I do. It believe in a loving, merciful, and just God, a Father, that would Himself destroy innocent children or innocent people that are not aggressing against others nor order his covenant people to do so. God tells his covenant people not to murder, so he must not do the same. It would make no sense for God or Yahweh, the future Jesus Christ, to murder people while telling his covenant people not to do the same. So inasmuch as this seems to occur in the scriptures, it must either be 1 of 2 things occurring: 1.) it must either a mistranslation or a purposeful corruption of the original writings about the original happenings. That wicked members of the House of Israel would corrupt & alter scripture in order to make themselves and their wicked doings as condoned by God and thus make them look like the “good guys” is not an implausible thing to imagine. Nor is it an implausible thing for the translation and compilation of what we know to be the Bible that occurred some 300-400 years after Christ’s death, by an empire that has made Christianity its official state religion to be corrupted, even purposefully, for the exact same reasons, to make the Roman Empire and its new religion and all it does seem legit and condoned by God. The second possibility is that the events of seeking innocents being slaughtered by ancient Israel, by God himself such as the firstborn Egyptians, the children during the flood, or the Kingmen by Moroni in the Book of Mormon did actually happen as recorded, but they were not ordered to do so nor condoned in their doing so by a merciful, loving, just father and creator deity called God who commands His children not to murder. It could very well be that these very contradictory and problematic incidents found in scripture where innocents who have not aggressed seem to be killed by either God Himself or His covenant peoples could be a combination of both ancients peoples doing the wrong thing without God’s approval and a corruption of the scripture itself in translation or in writing and compiling that occurred to make what might have occurred seem justified & condoned by God. Whatever the explanation may be, I do not believe in a Hod that murders people while telling his covenant people not to murder. Thus I do not believe God killed innocent people in the flood, during the Egyptian plagues, or commanded His covenant people to do so on his behalf as they inherited the covenant promised land.

In short, I do not believe for one second that such events that depict Yahweh or his covenant people murdering innocents in the Old Testament or elsewhere happened as it is written, or if it did, they were not commanded to do so by Yahweh and did so without God’s consigning of such atrocious, evil acts. God does not tell His children, humanity, to abide by the non-aggression principle by foes bidding them to steal, commit fraud, and murder while doing so Himself. There must therefor be an error in the text itself or an error on the part of the people who committed those acts outside of God’s justification and commandment. We can see in the Old Testament itself where God at times spares the innocents, like he spared Rahab in Joshua 2 despite the rest of Jericho being slaughtered or the Canaanite cities not of the 7 Canaanite cities specifically mentioned by God where all must be destroyed in Deuteronomy 20 10-15 where, if those cities chose to aggress against Israel passing by, the women and “little ones” should be spared. Why would God spare the women and the little ones of these cities or Rahab, all apparently innocent, while slaughtering the men of those cities and slaughtering everyone of the the 7 specific Canaanite cities God named in Deuteronomy 20:16? It makes no sense. Children are innocent and are not capable of sin and being held accountable for any wrong doings like adults. Thus the most likely scenario given the wish-washiness of Yahweh throughout the Old Testament in saving some innocents while destroying others in mad fits of murderous anger, there must be a translation or compilation error or a direct corruption that occurred in it’s being put together as a writing.
